A year ago, one day we discovered the need of a remote control system to perform simple operation like turn on and off the lights and fans in our house. Hence, we searched around. We faced a few problems that time, firstly, it was very difficult to buy this kind of product, and secondly, some of the products need additional wiring which mean they require users to pull a Neutral line to the switch position. Thirdly, we found a few types of remote control wall switches that do not require wiring (that is not totally true); however, these few remote control switches are only suitable for incandescent bulbs, or florescence with magnetic ballast. If they are installed to run florescence with electronic ballast, the lamp will flicker or partially on, even when they are set to "off" mode. The work around is to add a resistor or capacitor to bypass the lamp, which means also rewiring.

Thus then, we decided to design a remote control wall switch that does not require rewiring and suitable for all lamps. After several months of research and improvement, we have incorporated the US, China and local technology, and successfully developed Deng-Kai switch.
